Children's Claritin and KaBoom

Kids should have time to play -- at home and at school. We know that creative play can make kids happy and healthy, but some kids aren't getting enough of it. That's why the makers of Children's Claritin are teaming up with the national nonprofit KaBOOM! to help bring innovative play spaces to schools in need. As a member of the Children's Claritin Mom Crew, we want you to be among the first to hear about this exciting program.

Children's Claritin and KaBOOM! are helping bring play to kids in need by offering 12 national schools the chance to win Imagination Playground™ equipment. These mobile play sets are comprised of oversized foam blocks that can be assembled inside or outside, giving children of all abilities the opportunity to foster creativity and critical-thinking skills.

Your vote can make a difference! Join Children's Claritin, the #1 pediatrician-recommended non-drowsy allergy brand, and KaBOOM! to help select 4 schools to receive Imagination Playground™ equipment. You can visit between 8/1-10/31 to cast your vote for one of twelve finalist schools. The four schools with the most votes will win Imagination Playground™ equipment for their students.

Help bring these schools to the finish line!

And here are mine!! I still have some pulling to do to make them round, but love how long it is.

Happy crafting!! I'd love to see photos if you chose to do this.

Rain Rain go AWAY

It has now been raining for 7 days. While it hasn't been consistent, it has been dark and gloomy and makes me hunger for warm belly meals. The kids, on the other hand, still want burgers and fries for every meal.

This is where I give a huge shout of THANKS to Freezer Friendz for their yummy fast meals. I also love that so many of them can be made in advance and cooked frozen. Cheeseburger and fries casserole by Beth is one of the meals that we eat at least twice a month and can be made ahead of time. I removed the freezer instructions, but you can check out the recipe on their site for all that goodness.

Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole by Beth

1 1/2lbs ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
garlic, salt & pepper to taste
6-8 slices American Cheese ( I used Velveeta sliced thin)
26oz Ore-Ida Frozen Fries (I used seasoned Shoestring Fries)

Brown meat in skillet and drain. Mix soup and seasonings with meat and transfer to a greased 9x13 baking dish. Layer the cheese on top of meat mixture to cover entirely and layer frozen fries on top of cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees until fries are crispy and cheese is all bubbly (approx 20 minutes)

Hope your family enjoys this as much as mine!!
